For one of our automotive manufacturing clients (Tier 1 supplier) in the U.S. we are looking for experienced Quality Engineer Automotive (m/f/d).

Your main task will be to function as liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve supplier quality issues and to provide technical support. You will consult R&D in design for manufacturability.  You will participate in Risk Analysis and support the preparation of project scope, and evaluation of suppliers.  You will be responsible to control the APQP Process for supplier parts from product design until transfer to manufacturing facility, including APQP documentation, preparation and tracking status/progress.  Furthermore, you will perform root cause analysis in case of technical deviations and follow-up of necessary corrective actions, including securing of compliance of the PEP process and use of the SIPOCs.  Also, you will be responsible for preparation, validation and approval of PPAP/PPF, as well as for all associated reporting to team and management.

As a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) you provide the following characteristics:

  • Experience in automotive engineering methods (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC)
  • University degree in engineering, supply chain or related areas, or professional training (BA/BS or MA/MS)
  • Training in Quality Management/plus additional subject-specific training (technician)/plus experience with suppliers at national and international levels
  • Good knowledge of Production Techniques and Processes, Norms and Customer Requirements, Component and Tolerance Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (esp. Excel)
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Excellent communication, active listening and presentation skills

For one of our automotive manufacturing clients (major OEM) in the U.S. we are looking for experienced Launch and Change Coordinator (m/f/d). Your main task will be to direct and coordinate all activities within the production plant of our client related to the implementation of engineering changes. Management of changes may include new model introductions, package updates and/or series running changes. Besides driving and coordinating launch and change related activities as well as steering projects and cross- functional teams you will evaluate engineering releases and deviations. Furthermore, you will provide guidance and training to process partners on the launch and change management systems and processes. Finally, you will identify and implement improvements of the engineering change process of our client.

As Change and Launch Coordinator (m/f/d) you provide the following characteristics:

  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Ability to pro-actively manage interfaces
  • University degree in engineering, supply chain or related areas (BA/BS or MA/MS)
  • 2+ years of related professional experience with BA/BS/MA/MS degree
  • 2+ years of project management/team leadership positions in supply chain, logistics or engineering related functions
